Top Buys: Best Bundesliga players

7 Nov

Note: Sorry about how long it took to get this post up. Unfortunately I’ve had no internet for the past three days, but its back now so i’ll get more new content out soon!

So last week I talked about players in the Premier League you should definitely think about getting getting for your ultimate team. Now this post is about the Bundesliga, so who should you get? Again I’ve got to remind you that prices fluctuate not only week to week but also depending on what formation they are in, so bare that in mind!

Best cheap buy

I couldn’t really believe this, but at time of writing you can get Kroos for under 2000 coins which seems crazy for a player who is rated 84.

Toni Kroos

The bad side is that he is a CAM, so it’s going to cost a lot for those of us who don’t have a CAM position to change him to CM, but to be honest you can get away without changing it. The other bad side is the fact he is rather slow, especially for a CAM so you won’t be outrunning any defenders with him on the break. On the upside, his passing is ridiculously good so expect some awesome through balls and whilst you can’t run past people, you can dribble around them. If all else fails just shoot at them with his 82 shot, oh and he has a 5 star weak foot. A great midfielder for crossing, free kicks and corners, all for under 2000 coins.

Best pace
This is a tough one because theirs two real cheap pacey strikers; Diouf and Esswien.

Alexander Esswien
My friend prefers Diouf because even though he’s a little slower, he has better acceleration which means he can get up to speed quicker but for me I prefer, and have scored a lot of goals, with Esswien. He gets in great positions and powers past defenders. Only issue is that his shot is pretty leave it. There are some definite shots that a better player would put away, that Esswien misses, but he doesn’t cost too much which makes him good for the pace abusers among us.

Two reasonable buys

These players are actually quite cheap, they were for me anyway, and they are Gündoğan and Lewandoski.

Gündoğan and Lewandowski

You should have heard of Lewandoski. He plays for Bun. Dortmund and he is a prolific goalscorer in real life. In the game he has a better than expected shot, decent pace and dribbling skill. He is a good striker, especially for the price and can always be relied upon to get important goals. On the other-hand Gündoğan isn’t as well known, but he is so unexpectantly good. Again at good goal scorer but then main stats he has are pace, passing and dribbling, exactly what you need from a CM, get him, well worth it even though he isn’t a shiny card.

Best overall player

I’m not going to lie, this is such a tough decision. So many potential players such as Gomez, Neuer and Schwiensigger. But I’m going to have to say that the best player is Arjen Robben.

Arjen Robben

Lets not kid around, 93 pace and 85 shot, their isn’t much better around in the Bundesliga. He maybe RM but he could definitely fit in at a RW role. He can run rings around players and score a goal afterwards to boot. If you want a player to aim for in your quest for a German dream team, their isn’t much better than Robben.

As always make sure to put a comment with any of your favourite German League players and please subscribe to the blog, more leagues coming soon!

I can see where you’re coming from but Robben is a bit faster so he can get out of situations better than Robben IMO 🙂
