Top Buys: Best Serie A players

15 Nov

Welcome to my post about the best players in the Italian league, Serie A. Remember it is important to get the best chemistry out of a team so ideally players of the same nationality and league would get the green lines between the players and get your team playing perfectly! Obviously Italian players are the easiest to find in the league but there are also many foreign players are equally as good to use and can be effective. Continue reading to find out who the top performers and best value players in Serie A are!

Firstly I would like to say I really enjoy using an Italian league team because of the pace of the forwards and the dominance of the midfield using strength and passing to control the game. Most players in the Italian league are relatively cheap compared to the same rated players in the Premier League and are in general good at passing and defending.

Best cheap player

I cannot praise this player enough he has all the attributes to make it in a top Serie A team. His name is Rodrigo Palacio, an Argentinian  right forward who is rated 83 overall who sells for around 1,500 coins on Xbox.

Palacio

His stats do the talking for me, his 88 pace is important when attacking down the wing when chasing the ball down the channels as well as having 86 dribble and 81 shot. Also, his 4* skills make him a complete player in my eyes. The reason he is so cheap on ultimate team is that he is in an odd position, Right forward is a position used in formations such as 4-3-2-1 and 5-2-2-1 which are unusual but make him a cheap buy and well worth the money you pay for him.

Best fast player

I can only give this to one player, the Frenchman rated 77 overall, Biabiany. His other stats may not stand out amazingly but his speed makes him an amazing player. His 96 pace makes him joint fastest player in the game with Theo Walcott of arsenal and a silver player named Rojas.

Biabany

His dribbling is good and he is good at putting crosses into the box if you have a striker fast enough to get into the penalty area. I find when using him, he is always available for a pass and can escape defenders with his pace. Considering this player sells for around 1,000 coins on xbox he is cheap enough for a starter Serie A team.

Two reasonably priced players

Ok, the price on these players is a bit higher but you will see the results on the pitch. First of all we have Miccoli, a striker with pace and a shot of 85.  He is Italian so fits in nicely to a Serie A team. His heading isn’t great but he is regularly available for a through ball. Although he is only 82 rated overall his stats make him a great player for a quick attack.

Miccoli and Cavani

Now Edison Cavani is the other reasonable player who sells for about 15,000 coins but is a major asset to any team. His speed and heading mean he can keep up with a pacey winger and can put away headers. He has the long shot taker trait and makes loads of runs in between the centre backs which is really hard to defend against.

Best player

A good goalkeeper on fifa is always underated but this guy is absolute quality. Gianluigi Buffon, Italy’s international keeper is one of the very best goalkeepers in the game. With 89 diving and 86 reflexes make him a great shot stopper. His kicking stats could be better but other than that he is an overall amazing player and for me the best player in Serie A.

Buffon

So these are some of the good players in Serie A but don’t get me wrong there are plenty of other players such as Marchisio and De Rossi to name but two. I would really recommend an Italian league team because they can be made for reasonable cheap and have some great players, using it will get you playing well and winning division one in no time. This is Ewan signing off!
